Why linger at Bray Dunes?

The skeletons of shipwrecks on the beach are evidence of the rescue operation of the body in June 1940 British expeditionary force. While it was hoped to evacuate 45 000 men, they are finally close to 140,000 people who joined England thanks to the sacrifice of the French divisions to delay the Germans.

It is also the northernmost, overseas included French commune.
