Cathedral of Reims, Marne

Of all the Kings of France, only seven are did not swearing in the Cathedral of Reims.

On its façade, the Gallery of Kings includes 56 more statues of 4 m high.

Destroyed by 288 shells during the first world war, the Cathedral was rebuilt in 1919.
The scaffolding of today reflect the final restoration ending in 2019.

By its millenary history and its symbolism, the Cathedral of Reims is a universal reference of french heritage.
